The company with its associates has government approved “Test House” in all the branches of testing of lifting appliances viz. cranes, hoists, derricks etc. and its loose gears namely hooks, shackles, slings chains etc. Then as well as Container Lifting Spreaders sell and service of Industrial Safety Equipment. These tests are performed under the direct supervision of “Competent Persons” , who are engineers in employment of the company approved of such purposes by the inspectorate of Dock safety under the ministry of labour, government of India, NCGB is also in the field of the conducting NDT (Non Destructive Testing) Such as UT/MPI / Visual test / LPT by ASNT Level II inspector. NCGB with its associates is the only company in the private sector to have so many approved test houses & competent persons & level II inspectors in various ports in India.
Other than attending to repairs renewals & overhauling of cranes, NCGB regularly supply different spares parts for Cranes & Loose Gears & with Lifting Appliances and do service work of Life Boats, Rafts, Davits in Ships in India and around the Globe with a fleet of well experienced Service Engineers.
NCGB is a regular manufacturer of Mechanical Spreaders which are being used in most ports. Supply of Twist Locks to STINIS at Netherlands for use with their spreaders under manufacture is regular Loos Gears like hooks, blocks, slings, sheaves, special lifting attachments of proven quality come mostly under our manufacturing items.
